Sarah Johnson changed job in January 2009. Moving out of a company car scheme into a vehicle allowance, she did not want to commit to a long term finance contract for two reasons. Having explained my situation to Flexible, they initially leased me an Audi for 5 months. This gave the time to see what my car allowance netted to per month and also gave me time to find my feet with the new company. After the initial period I dealt with Flexibles long term division who supplied me my new Golf on contract hire and at the same time took the short term Audi away which they had kindly let me keep until my Golf arrived. It was great that there was a actually a company who advised me of my best options and were able to keep me mobile; to sum up in one word - seamless Flexible Comment: This was a perfect process for a new employee to take. We were able to supply Sarah a short term flexi contract as an interim vehicle before she committed herself to a long term contract hire with her Golf. Being a Director and part owner of his own company David was used to purchasing his and his wifes vehicles and then selling them after about 18 months. However, after one too many significant losses on the sale of a 4x4 he looked at leasing. At the time we were operating some deal on the then new XC90 model. We not only facilitated a programme for the short term contracts but much to our surprise they moved away from the Contract Hire funder and we now provide of 60% of their long term contracts also.
